Technology Ventures Summit to Showcase Promising Technology Companies in Oklahoma

A dozen Oklahoma startups will soon be in the spotlight at the upcoming statewide Technology Ventures Summit February 15-16, 2011 at the Doubletree Downtown Hotel in Tulsa.

The 12 emerging companies will be featured presenters on the second day of the Summit. They represent a diverse industry pool including clean-technology, safety and security, biotechnology, energy, software and internet applications among others. Each will have an opportunity to present their commercialization plans to an audience of venture capitalists and angel investors.

SensiQ – Next-generation instrument maker of Surface Plasmon Resonance instruments used by scientists to characterize bimolecular interactions.

XploSafe LLC – Maker of multiple products for explosives detection and chemical safety.

Failsafe Hazmat Compliance – Provider of specialized shipping compliance software for companies who ship hazardous materials.

Filters – Internet based HVAC air filter subscription service company.

A3Environ Technologies – Clean- technology company focusing on wastewater treatment.

Impact Earth LLC – Energy rig maker utilizing key prototype drilling components to reduce installation time and costs.

MetCel LLC – Developer and manufacturer of advanced honeycombs and similar composite materials for high strength and impact resistance applications.

Perk Dynamics – Provider of a software automation tool for enhanced beverage brewing control.

Diner Connection – Provider of a hybrid wait-list management system for the restaurant industry.

Bluewater – Engineering and design company focusing on improved actuation, sensing, control technology and integration related to disk drives.

Crowdstory – Provider of an iPhone application that allows user to tether audio snippets with specific locations to be accessed by users in their social network.
