Ken Parker
In 1998, Ken Parker helped co-found RiskMetrics, the world’s largest independent provider of risk management solutions. Ken led the initial technology development and has served various leadership roles as the company has grown from 27 to 300. Ken currently heads the RiskMetrics’ Oklahoma office and co-heads Research and Development.
Prior to RiskMetrics, Ken spent four years with JPMorgan on Wall Street leading Derivatives Analytics Development. Ken started his career with Denver’s Martin Marietta Aerospace in a variety of software development roles: satellite ground communication and control, telerobotic flight software, and reusable spacecraft software. Ken’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Math/Computer Science from Oklahoma Christian University and a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Colorado. Ken serves on boards at University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Christian University. He and his family now live on a 600-acre ranch in Noble, Oklahoma.
